Chronos Smart SFP™ TS module is an electrical SFP that fully supports the demanding timing requirements for todays networks.

The Chronos Smart SFP TS is transparent for the IEEE 1588v2 protocol and supports Synchronous Ethernet over a copper connection. This allows operators to utilize copper cables on SFP ports and still meet timing and synchronization requirements for demanding applications like LTE-Advanced in mobile networks. The Chronos Smart SFP is designed in conformance with the Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (MSA).
