Service Level Agreement

In today’s Internet driven economy customers demand the best performance at an affordable price. When a customer agrees to do business he expects that a certain service level is met. This Service Level Agreement is becoming the standard by which the performance of your service is measured. This creates a need to perform measurements in your network to proactively check your provided service level. Optimizing the cost of performance data measurement is the key element in the EchoVault and Smart devices solution.

Creanord EchoVault lets carriers Bridge the SLA Gap™ by providing a carrier-grade SLA delivery platform that verifies the service turn-up and automates SLA reporting. Multi-Vendor support, YourChoice™, gives freedom of using a broad range of network equipment and different technologies to extract performance data for SLA calculations. The EchoVault platform allows you to win more business by introducing new and innovative Ethernet services whilst producing significant operational savings through automation.

Your Benefits

  • Carrier grade SLA delivery platform
  • Fully automated SLA monitoring and management
  • End to End Service Monitoring using CFM IEEE802.1ag
  • Y.1731 Loss and Delay Measurement
  • Smallest footprint in the industry when using the Smart SFP
  • Support of EX14 Transport NID and OAM Smart SFP

Key Features

EchoVault empowers Smart Devices with End to End Service Monitoring and SLA Management by offering the following key features:

  • Automatic discovery of new devices
  • Inventory Management
  • Service Level Definition
  • Service Level Monitoring
  • Traffic Monitoring

Smart Devices

The Smart device family of products have been designed for plug and play operation with low power consumption and minimal footprint. The Smart Devices add advanced End to End Service Monitoring and SLA management capabilities:

  • Link layer monitoring via instant-on support for Link OAM (IEEE 802.3ah)
  • Service layer OAM using Connectivity Fault Management (IEEE 802.1ag)
  • Loss and Delay Measurement (ITU-T Y.1731)

Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) is fully supported to enable both on-site and remote checking of optical power levels. Deploying Smart Devices in your network enables the measurement of key SLA parameters.

EX14

The EX14 is the ideal Carrier-class solution for Demarcation and Media Conversion at the edge of the network. Using small form pluggable (SFP) transceivers it supports a wide range of optical interfaces. Cost effective business access is achieved by the integrated, Sync-E compatible electrical interface. Its robust metal housing and dual power connectors emphasize the Telecom grade quality.

OAM Smart SFP

The OAM Smart SFP modules provide customers an easy solution for monitoring and SLA measurements using standardized protocols. It needs zero footprint during deployment as it replaces a standard SFP and adds full SLA capabilities at wire speed Gigabit Ethernet with very low latency.
The Smart SFP serves a wide range of optical and reach applications: duplex fiber, single fiber bidirectional, and single wavelength bidirectional, including CWDM with reaches up to 80 km at industrial temperature range.
